The Basilica has recently been asked to help with two programs to help seniors and the disabled in our community. Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals and My Ride Tennessee provides rides for essential trips to seniors and disabled folks. They need adults to deliver the meals and/or give the rides. Flexible shifts are available. Please consider volunteering for these corporal works of mercy, in the spirit of St. Joseph the Worker. Find out more here...
We just learned of this poll Chattanooga Times-Free Press has out. Of course the answer is a resounding NO! Chattanooga does not want or need the deadly agenda Planned Parenthood has to offer. Please vote NO, quickly before they remove the poll.
Bosco Joseph Paul Cooper, son of Kody and Deirdre Cooper, was stillborn April 20, 2021, 4lbs 4oz. He received the baptism of desire by his parents. A service for Bosco was held at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul Saturday, April 24. Dr. Philip Jerald Dugan, 84, former director and founder of the Cleveland and Athens Regional Cancer Centers, the Ocoee Regional Cancer Foundation, longtime resident of Birchwood, TN passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at home with his family after a courageous 1 year battle with MD Syndrome. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul Wed., April 21, at 9am, followed by burial at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 11am.

Carter interviewed Corinne Henderson, Basilica parishioner and board member of La Paz Chattanooga, a social service organization with faith-based roots that serves and strengthens our Latino community via corporal works of mercy.
