The Blessed Virgin Mary Visitation Guild of our Basilica parish of Sts. Peter and Paul is dedicated to the imitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who brought Jesus in her womb to visit her relative Elizabeth, whose son John the Baptist leaped for joy in her womb at the presence of our Savior in the womb of the Blessed Virgin.
If you or a loved one are homebound or hospital-bound and would like to receive Holy Communion, contact the parish office about coordinating visits from the Blessed Virgin Mary Visitation Guild.
In the spirit of the Visitation, would you consider bringing the joy of the Real Presence of Jesus to the homebound or hospital-bound?
Trained and enlisted Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are needed to visit the homebound and the sick of our parish after they receive additional training and a Holy Communion visitation kit. If you haven’t yet been trained and enlisted as an Extraordinary Minister, full training will be provided.
Contact the parish office if you have an interest in this mission of mercy.
