Right to Life Oratory Contest for High Schoolers

Hey, Tennessee High School Students! 
Raise Your Voice at the 

The contest is tentatively scheduled for March 27th, but it may be virtual.

We are remaining flexible, but we want students to go ahead and start planning to participate!

This event involves researching, writing, and presenting a short speech. 

Students who participate will benefit from developing public speaking and leadership ability, practicing research and writing skills, learning more about critical current issues and enjoying an opportunity to educate others.

The contest also has a monetary incentive – cash prizes of $150, $100, and $50 will be awarded to the top three speakers at the local level.

Our winner will go to the state competition in Nashville with cash prizes up to $750, and the state and the state winner will go on to the national competition with cash prizes up to $1,000.
