Please pray for Brian Blatchford, the brother of Fr. Colin Blatchford and Fr. Neil Blatchford. Brian was in a bad car accident on 8/11/23 and suffered a serious neck injury. There is a chance he may not walk again or be able to use his hands. The Blatchford family asks for your prayers, including a novena to Sister Lucia of the Fatima apparitions. 
 

Updates

Update 8/26/23: Brian has moved to Shepherd Spinal Cord Injury Rehab Center in Atlanta to learn life skills. His wife and children have moved nearby to be with him full time. Today he was able to hold each of his children and worked with OT on skills like brushing teeth and dressing. They are grateful for this progress forward and time together. They ask for prayers for his mental and physical strength. The novenas listed below are encouraged.  





Update 8/13/23 from Brian's mother, Virginia Blatchford:  Brian's surgery started later than planned and is still underway. The family is so very grateful for all the prayers and sacrifices for Brian's recovery. They are praying in hope for a miracle in healing that he will be able to walk again. Fatima relics have been brought to Brian and are taped to his collar. Part of the tree that the Blessed Mother stood on in Fatima and a first class relic from Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta have been loaned to Brian and his family while they are needed. They are asking for the intercession of Sister Lucia, who is in need of another miracle in her beatification process and would be very grateful if the community would join them in a 9 day novena with the intention of Brian's miraculous healing.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly and I thank you for the Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima, that revealed to the world the riches of her Immaculate Heart. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I implore You, if it should be for Your greater glory and the good of our souls, to glorify Sr. Lucy, one of the Shepherds of Fatima, by granting us the grace which we implore through her intercession.
