Anita Louise Holcomb, 81, of Ringgold passed away peacefully at home Thursday, December 9, 2021. Anita was born February 19, 1940 to the late Matthew and Stella Palaskas Gotautis. She was a resident of the North Georgia area for 54 years. She was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church and loved to attend The Basilica of St. Peter and Paul for Latin Mass. She also was president of North Georgia Right to Life Chapter. She had a servant’s heart and loved helping those in need.
She is preceded by her loving husband Walter Clayton Holcomb; sons, Christopher Michael and Vincent Thadeous Holcomb; grandchildren, Jovan Hanna and J.J. May.
Survivors include her children, Annastasia (Joe) Hanna, Desiree (Garry) Burnett, Marcelene May, Clayton (Angie) Holcomb, Thomas Holcomb, Jeff Holcomb, Kelly (Rebecca) Holcomb, Spencer (Vickie) Holcomb; 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be 12 PM, Monday at Basilica of St. Peter and Paul with Father Carter and Father Brian officiating. Interment will be at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Life Lobby and The Priestly Fraternity for Priest.
