The Deacon's Table Virtual Meeting

This Sunday at the 5pm virtual WebEx Deacon’s Table, let’s look at several Scriptures before we watch Dr. Michael Barber’s 3 ^rd session on “Exploring the Early Church Fathers” which addresses Sacred Scripture as seen through the eyes of our early Church fathers, especially Origen and St. John Chrysostom.  For context, I also encourage you to read Part One, Chapter Two, Article 3 of Second Edition of “ The Catechism of The Catholic Church“, from which these Scripture readings are taken.  So, the assigned Scriptures for this Sunday are 1 Thess 2:13, Jn 20:31, 2 Tim 3:16, and 2 Pet 1:19-21 & 3:15-17.  Dcn.
