Support Deacon Formation - Special Collection Oct. 16 & 17

Don’t miss an opportunity the weekend of October 16 & 17 to support our deacons!  A special collection will take place this weekend at all Masses to help support the Diocese of Knoxville’s deacon formation program.

Did you know there are currently 25 men in deacon formation in our diocese? This weekend’s collection helps support a five-year program that prepares men to serve as permanent deacons in the Catholic Church in East Tennessee. Deacons bring the Gospel and the gift of themselves to soup kitchens, food banks, prisons, hospitals – serving in their parish and in the community.
