There will be four free concerts offered as part of the Pipe Organ Encounter Week here in Chattanooga. The concerts will feature the teaching faculty from across the country who have gathered in Chattanooga as part of the Pipe Organ Encounter. You are welcome to attend these performances on some of the most beautiful instruments in the city in some equally grand and beautiful spaces. Bring a friend or two and come along for some great and inspiring music featuring the King of Instruments!

Ms. Mitchell-Wallace is a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists and the Regional Councillor for the Southeast United States. Dr. Johnson is organist at Church Street United Methodist and professor of organ at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Tuesday, June 11, 7:30 pm - Katherine Meloan, Tyler Canonico and Dennis Janzer.

Ms. Meloan is organist at First United Methodist Church, Wichita Falls, TX. Mr. Canonico is Director of Music and Organist at Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, PA. Dr. Janzer is the Director of Music and Organist at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Memphis, TN and instructor of organ at Rhodes College.
Thursday, June 13, 7:30 pm - Great Lakes Duo – Rhonda Edgington, organ and Brian Reichenbach, Trumpet.
First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 N. Moore Rd.
This Trumpet and Organ duo has been playing together since 2003, not only the classical standards, but also newly commissioned works. Dr. Edgington is organist at Hope Church and teaches at Calvin University in Michigan. Dr. Reichenbach lives here in Chattanooga and was Associate Professor of Trumpet at Lee University.
