Organ Recital by Eduardo Brand

Organist Eduardo Brand, a student at Mercer University, will give an evening recital Saturday, July 27 at 7pm, on the Basilica's historic pipe organ. His program will include the works of J.S. Bach, Louis Vierne, Herbert Howells, and more. Please plan to attend, and invite your friends!

About Eduardo Brand

Eduardo Jose Brand, 19, is a rising sophomore at Mercer University, pursuing a BM in Organ Performance under the direction of Dr. Jack Mitchener. He is currently assistant organist at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Macon Georgia, and previously served as organ scholar at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham, Houston, Texas. He is spending his summer in Chattanooga working as an apprentice organ builder at Richards, Fowkes & Co.

There will be a reception after the concert. The concert is free, and there will be a tip jar for Eduardo to thank him and support him as he continues his studies. (Bring cash if you'd like to do that!)
