Archbishop Shelton Fabre has asked the faithful of our diocese to join him in responding to the call of the Latin Catholic patriarch of Jerusalem for a day of prayer and fasting this Tuesday, Oct. 17, for peace and reconciliation in the Holy Land. In the words of the patriarch, “This is the way we all come together despite everything, and unite in prayer, to deliver to God the Father our thirst for peace, justice, and reconciliation.”
At the Basilica, we will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament this Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 5:30 to 6:30pm, during the dinner hour, and we will pray a Rosary for peace and reconciliation in the Holy Land.
