A unique opportunity for us as Catholics to engage the society at large is to participate in Hamilton County’s Christmas Tree Lighting on Tues., Nov. 26. While we know Christmas for Catholics technically doesn’t begin until December 25, we can see the good of participating in societal recognition of the signs and symbols that remember the perennial truth of the Incarnation, even if they’re a little premature, liturgically speaking. Therefore, we invite you to join in the 3rd Annual Hamilton County Tree Lighting at the Hamilton County Courthouse, where Fr. Carter has been invited to bless the newly lighted Christmas tree. The festivities are from 4 to 6pm, with the lighting of the tree around 5:30pm.
